Drunken headbutting cabinets
Or your Hannah Montanna Ensembe
 
“I’m joining the Army”
You stated quite calmly
And enlisted to receive basic training
 
“Rugby, first division”
Another ‘left field’ decision
(Revealing my sporting misnaming)
 
Then your musical career
Which, of course, we hold dear
Was another unexpected surprise
 
We can never quite know
where this savant may go
But, from experience, we’ll always agnize
 
And when it all comes down
You’re the jewel in the crown
Of a family proud of all your decisions
 
And we deem it apropos,
Through your ‘beaucoup chapeau,’
That you’ll celebrate this birthday in prison
 
We love you even more as you unfold
